How to record fingerprint:
1. Power on:
When the EYE display is turned on, the fingerprint reader status indicator flashes blue, prompting the circuit to start working. After 15 seconds (without fingerprint information input), the indicator light turns off, the fingerprint lock locks the current state, and no further operations can be performed. So if you need to enter a fingerprint, please enter the fingerprint and unlock it normally within 15 seconds after pressing the power button of the instrument.
2. Enter the fingerprint:
2.1. If this is a new fingerprint device, there are no fingerprints in the fingerprint library, any valid fingerprints are considered as administrators (administrators have the authority to clear all fingerprint databases). If other fingerprints are entered, the administrator fingerprint is required for identification. At this time, the green indicator light will light up and the verification is successful. Keep holding your finger for about 5 seconds until the status indicator light is steady blue, release your finger, and then the blue indicator light flashes at a faster frequency to enter the fingerprint recording state.
2.2. To collect fingerprints, a single fingerprint needs to be pressed about 5 times. Each time the recording is successful, the green indicator light flashes. At this time, remove your finger and perform the next recording. If the fingerprint is pressed incorrectly, the red indicator light flashes.
2.3. The 5th acquisition is completed, the status indicator lights up in cyan (green and blue light at the same time), prompting to complete the entry of a finger fingerprint.
2.4. During the fingerprint entry, the interval between each press should not exceed 15 seconds, otherwise the entry will fail, you need to turn off the instrument and reopen it, and re-enter fingerprint entry
2.5. The first three different fingerprints that are successfully entered are the administrators and have permission to reset the fingerprint lock.
3. Delete fingerprint:
1. Any one of the three administrators, press your finger to the fingerprint information collection area for about 10 seconds until the status indicator is steady red. (After more than 5 seconds, the indicator light is steady blue. Do not release your finger. If you release it, you will enter the fingerprint recording state)
2. Release your finger to clear the fingerprint library and end the process of deleting fingerprints.
Administrator fingerprint has permission to reset the fingerprint reader,so usually do not need a reset button,withour this reset button let this fingerprint reader more safe
